A health assessment is absolutely compulsory at the beginning of any new training or nutritional plan. It is crucial to know where you are starting from in terms of health, not only for safety’s sake; but to measure your progress frequently against your starting point! You only know where you’re going once you know where you are!
Sometimes, weight problems can be due to physical factors beyond our control. This is not usually the case, but in certain circumstances it may be worth having levels of various indicators within the body tested for abnormal functioning.
Due to the highly technical nature of these tests, results are received from an external laboratory and so prices vary. Please Enquire.
Personal Nutrition Consultation
A full hour with your coach, split into two 30 minute sessions. (Often slightly longer!)
The first session will involve a chat about your current nutrition, your past habits and your future goals.
You will then be asked to complete a Questionnaire or two, and a 4 Day Food Diary. Your coach will analyse these and draw up an action plan to discuss with you during your second appointment.
This action plan will be completely designed for you; and you only. Your personal preferences and schedules are factored into any advice given, and you are encouraged to ask questions until you feel happy to begin your journey. This option can be chosen repeatedly in a “Pay As You Go” fashion if a course is not feasible.
Two hours with your personal trainer, split into two separate sessions.
Your coach will talk to you about your current exercising habits and analyse your physical movement patterns to ensure a safe and effective gym programme is prescribed.
Your trainer will motivate you by helping you set some achievable goals for you to aim for along the way. During your second session, each exercise on your new routine will be explained and demonstrated to ensure your workout does you good!
You are then encouraged to perform the exercises prescribed on your own for a pre-agreed duration before a program review is recommended to give ongoing results.
Get the best of both worlds with a combined fitness and nutrition programme designed by the one person looking after your health transformation. This option will take 2-3 hrs and you will receive a complete plan-of-attack to reshape your body.
